A stunning photo, the light is beautiful

Brilliant photo! Any special shooting setup or post-processing?

Thanks for your comments. The photo has had little post processing - just Photoshop auto contrast.

Too much saturation, poor foreground and saw tooth caused by too much compression of the image. Wish I was there though!

By 'eck, you've gleaned a lot of info from a 0.3mp jpg of a 12mp original. Wish I had your eyes. I'll post the original.

Dawn has quite a subtle light so that is why this doesn't work for me. There are some lovely rocks to the left which would make a stunning foreground especially as they just catch the light. Oh! and water is usually level. It really all depends on if you are really interested in improving your photography. This really could have been a stunning image with a little thought. Carrying a tripod I find helps the thought process to kick in. When you right-click the image it is only 39kb which compresses the original image. You can upload an image up to 250kb on this site which will make the photo gradation not have the saw-tooth banding effect.
