Thanks Mick :-) I went over to Laddow Rocks to show my other half some routes I've done and some I think we should do next summer...of course it was absolutely minging!
It could really do with some traffic but I think the walk in puts a lot of folk off which is a real shame ;-)

I have walked up to it three times now, to climb, and never managed a climb due to wind plus wet! Walked or run past it many other times too. nicely atmospheric picture!

Why do you always turn the saturation up? You turn what is probably an ok photo into an abomination.

Thanks for the comment Murdster, I don't really up the saturation to be honest, I just like colourful scenes and often add a lot of red into the white balance when taking the shot.
Sorry you don't like it...plenty more abominations to come no doubt! ;-)

When I were a lad, I used t'get bus t'Holme and walk over the peat bogs of Black Hill to Laddow Rocks, thence over't moor to Chew t'get bus back to Huddersfield! Brings back memories!

HBmm - I thought the saturation was about right - I might have upped the light in the shadows a tad, but a great photo. Roger Grimshaw
