    Really nice, tried to locate them from the summmit this May but, not that easy, really sreep and loose scree......

    To locate the Napes it's best to approach from Sty Head, and then take the Climbers' Traverse to firstly Kern Knotts, then across Great Hell Gate screes to below Napes Needle. Ascend up to the left of this, and you will get to the Dress Circle, on a level with the base of the Needle. After that, follow the obvious ledge systen under Eagles Nest Ridge and on towards Arrowhead Ridge, then on to the Sphinx Rock.
