Nice, shame the slackline isn't a little higher though and silhouetted against the sky; got any like that?

Thanks. I believe I don't have one with SImon exactly on the horizon line. Everything happened really fast and the sun went throught the gap in little more than 1 minute. I ran a YOU "ARE MY EDITOR SERIES" thing on my PedroPimentelVisuals on FB where I asked people which one they prefered in between this one and another one where the slackliner is performing some tricks... I quite like the other one more for its dynamic moment, but this one seems to have gotten a lot more attention at the time and decided to post this one. THanks for your comments. Keep them coming.

Points for effort. It might be lens distortion but the horizon looks a bit funny to me. Great colour, composition and the DoF works for me.

Fair enough, one of those grab your camera and keep firing moments. Great pic all the same :)

:) Thanks! Not really just grab your camera and fire away. MOre like sleeping on teh beach under teh killer mosquitos one year before and being awake by dusk to realise the alignment of teh sun with the cave. TO come back one year after with the people, skills and equipment. To prepare line the evening before and wake up at 5 am. To have no much more than 1 minute with teh sun going through the hole and have the slackliner walking and not falling at that time! :)

Check on Vimeo Sardinai Highlining Project for some behind the scenes of the project and one of my colleagues almost drowning a 5D Mark II while shooting at water level with the swell... :)
