I lead Birdlime around this time with my mate Wino (a far better climber) seconding. As I recall, we had a Viking No 4 rope and one semi-drilled out garage nut for pro. Better gear was available by this time, but we just fancied being a bit 'traditional'. A pity there wasn't a photo...
