It is quite stunning.
I'm presuming it's a recent photo? Did you experience any impact of what's going on in Syria and it's impact on Jordan?

very nice :) Wadi Rum is amazing. Lots of good rock and lots of bad rock too. We went via Egypt in the middle of the Egyptian revolution (cheap flights)...could not have gone at a better time, quite and much to talk about with the locals!

On the opposite side, you can see the granite the sandstone sits on. The water runs above the granite hence the springs and Wadi village at the bottom of the cliffs
