Interesting photo. The Norman Neruda is the rib, the Welzenbach to the left of it. When I did it with Jean Afanassief ( aged 17) in 1971 I insisted on keeping to the right as the Welzenbach had an ice patch, while my wife-to-be with Jean-Claude Droyer ended upon the NN in icy conditions. What memories!
