Conditions were far from perfect with wet steaks on every pitch making climbing quite exciting! The photo shows Ken carrying his waterproof jacket as we suffered several light showers before, during, and after the climb.
Look carefully at the photo and you will see Ken has stood in a sling...the wet slab was like an ice rink, making launching over the roof particularly difficult that day.

Great photo, great history! And yes I can imagine the excitement of Ken encountering wet steaks, on every pitch :)
