x-checking - this is the right side entry. You can go round to the left and exit out with a similar state of ground. Just to the right of that barely showing tree is the easier 4ft step upto the quarry top slope.

I revisited the area, this is not the 'Old Down Tockington quarry', but just 'Old Down quarry' in Old Down park itself.
