Was this a very fast ascent, because the stars seem almost pin sharp? Ursa major and Polaris are clearly visible - interesting that even in September the sun sets this far north, or was this earlier in the summer?

It was multiple exposures layered together. So kept the sky and stars as sharp as possible whilst allowing the trail of the climber to appear.
