Great historical photo. Was one of my favourite solos in the 70s. A ladder of jams. Profoundly satisfying.

One of my favourites too. If we're to believe that the "modern" jam was invented by Peter Harding in the late 40's it makes Frankland's efforts even more impressive.

Bl**dy Hell, one of the routes that (almost) made me give up climbing! I'd had a couple of good years in Wales, then went to York Uni and found stuff like this - couldn't handle it at all!
