Wow, it's finally been repeated! Did the FA in 2009 & I don't think it's had many (if any?) repeats since. A cool crux sequence from what I remember, hope you enjoyed it?

Yeah! Hardest thing I've done on slate, some of the hardest moves I've done on lead. Didn't really plan to give it a go but Tris persuaded I could always do Wave Rock again if I fell off....which nearly happened on each of the cruxes. Packs a hell of a punch for about 8m of seperate climbing. So yeah I enjoyed it.

It looks like it was really wet in this pic...or is it just the light making it look that way?

It's the light, it was bone dry. I think it might be a lot of ambient blue light from the sky reflected on the rock.
