Another great pic. I'm curious. You now have an F5, whose metering system is legendary (I also had one.) But I see that you started with the FM - about whose metering system I know nothing. But I imagine it's quite basic. How did you get your snow right in those days?

Hi-the FM (and FE2)have pretty basic centre weighted metering-roughly 60% in the designated circle in the centre of the screen- I used to just dial in 2+ stops in the compensation, and it usually came out about right. F5- just let it do it all for you!

The 'Good old days' tartan wooly shirts, and parralell B is still there! I dont fancy humphing an F5 up a winter route though!
