A truly stunning route which, sadly, is often overlooked. At an immense 4.78 metres, Ghost Writer is a classic Portland stamina test requiring both subtle footwork. This is at the very pinnacle of British (and perhaps even European?) limestone.

Glad you enjoyed it. Why not get on Garstang, from the same 'ghost writer'? At over 20 metres longer, it's an even more classic Portland stamina test, requiring both subtle footwork and... something else. Regarded as 'particularly memorable' by one of the (very) few repeat ascentionists.
