This photo makes me think of all those special days when you head out into the British countryside, you never quite know how it's going to turn out it if the weather will hold. But you head out anyway and you get to see moments like this as the sun is setting, when someone says "go on we have time for one more".
The first time I photographed this route, it was about 18 months prior to this trip. I was at the crag on a summers evening with nobody else there except my girlfriend. I set up my camera, balancing preciously on the edge of the cliff where this photo was taken and started the climb. We managed to accidentally get some good shots from a new angle, which inspired me to take this with my new camera the next time I returned to the crag.

Also nice to see that someone who's not a pro photographer or guide doing well in a UKC photo comp for a change! ;) Stop uploading old shots from 2005 for some free advertising, lads, we get it, you go to cool places with expensive cameras!
