This was the first time (IIRC) that a SeaKing was deployed to the Lakes from RAF Boulmer in the early summer of 1979. The SeaKing had replaced the Whirlwind at Easter that year.
Shown on the lawn at OBMS Eskdale after a training day with the MR teams from Eskdale, Wasdale, (+?)
