Your vision must be very blinkered if that's one of the best lines you've seen.

Why did you even bother Michael. He's clearly refering to bouldering in which context it is a great line and one which a lot of people aspire to climb. Nice angle Josh.

Really good shot of what is indeed a great line. Nice work getting up to that vantage point!
Fraser - 08/Jun/17
Ok I was being a bit facetious, but surely even in bouldering terms this isn't on the same level (as a line) as things like Crescent ArĂȘte, NTBTA or Careless Torque. Regardless of opinions on quality of line, it may of course be a wonderful problem.

The key words in the description being "I've seen" this is the famous comment etiquette on UKC I've heard lots about hahaha. I'm sure my opinion will change over a few years as I discover more amazing lines. Thanks Alex and Fraser

Looks like a beautiful line to me - like a piece of Font transposed.

Have you ever seen it Michael? If not, I think you may change your mind. If you have, well...it's your right to think otherwise! A Northern Soul is undoubtedly one of the finest and most beautiful problems in the country. Whilst I love Crescent Arete, I do it every time I go to Stanage and smile each time, the subtlety of A Northern Soul arguably outclasses it.

Mick, It feels like font too! Nothing but slopers to top out with hahaha! The rock feels like font minus the pof and polish that is.

It is higher than it looks, Old school E5!
petegunn - 09/Jun/17
Were you stood on the boulder opposite or up the tree? :)
petegunn - 09/Jun/17
Pete, Just on the top of the boulder behind. Because it's a slab anything from the floor resulted in a butt shot for me so just got a little bit of height but then it doesn't appear as high... oh well haha I'll find a better angle next time
