Was that the Public Enemy one?

That's right.

I think I left my sandwiches over there...

I've done Public Enemy but I'm a bit hazy about it... didn't it take that black wall on the right and then head out onto the grey headwall above? Is is at all climbable nowadays? Has any of that area been reclimbed?
Mick, I think your sarnies are probably f***ed!

Yes, I think Public Enemy started up the black wall then rounded the first overhang, finishing up the groove still visible towards the right-hand side of the photo.
As far as I know there are still no new routes in this area. There are large areas of steep rock with no obvious protection. The obvious lines to go at would be the steep corners, but they would required a substantial top-down cleaning operation.

Equilibrium was in the centre of that left hand orange scar with the vestiges of grey on its right hand arĂȘte (which must be what's left of Equipoise). It's strange as the whole of that buttress was apparently more monolithic - no obvious big rooves etc - than most of the rest of that part of St Govan's. Just shows in retrospect that Pat's name Wicked Gravity was far more appropriate!

I believe that when the cliff fell it was heard in the St Govans Inn.
