A superb photo, bringing back happy memories of one of the first great climbing experiences of my life (in 1967, a few months after doing Flying Buttress and Spiral Stairs on the Cromlech).
Gordon Stainforth - 12/Nov/17
In the early sixties Eric Rayson and I had a harrowing descent down this ridge in the middle of a thunderstorm, after having had an equally harrowing ascent of the East Face with barrow loads of stone fall all day. Will never forget it.

Agfachrome or Ectachorme? From the look of the blues, I'm guessing Agfa.

Sorry to have taken so long to rely. Its been a busy time. Just went and checked. Its Kodak EPN 6012. Which was the film I needed at the time for consistency commercially at the time.
