I lived in Ruthin, Wales for a few years and climbed at Ruthin Escarpment in the 1980's. I climbed all over the UK and did a fair amount of Alpine climbing in Europe. I haven't climbed for years but I'm living in Spain so I'm going to start again.Location

Best Climbing Experience
Climbed up to 6b in the early 1980´´s. Also did a lot in the alps. Mainly climbed free no top roping climbed in one push. A few bolt placements where death was inevitable.
Favourite Climbing-Related Discussion Topic
Ruthin Escarpement. Unfortunately I lost interest in keeping records and climbed quite a number of routes on various sections without keeping records. All done in the 1980's. I took some pretty heavy falls on a few of the lower sections.
