Nice shot, but there's something a bit surreal about the colouring or lighting in this. I can't quite put my finger on it.

The sunlight was very strong but we were climbing in the shade, so I have brought out the shadows somewhat. Maybe I've overdone it.

Could be, yes. I'd assumed it was very bright in the sun, so maybe the shade should appear a bit darker. Nice photo all the same. Looks great training for Ratho through the winter though, I must say! ;)

I only go climbing to train for Ratho. Unfortunately Namibia was mostly slabs and chimneys, so a bit of a wasted journey :-(
