that corner where you are heading too is where the route is supposed to go, not sure what you were hoping to head up initially!

Oh really? The topo was a bit unclear, but on route it seemed like it was possible to take the ice fall direct in fatter conditions. The corner was fairly thin on either side and felt disproportionally hard compared to the rest of the route, which is why I thought it wasn't the intended way
