Thought this might amuse those who visit the UAE & Oman to climb today

I lived in Sur, Oman, for a while in recent years and what is truly fantastic is that this photo could fairly easily have been taken now. There are loads of spots within an hour of Sur with scenes just like this. A beautiful country that has seen rapid, huge scale modernisation while hanging on to many traditions.
