If Spitzkoppe is the Matterhorn of Africa, the Great Pontok Spitze must be Petit Dru. We had a long day on a route called 'To bolt or not to bolt' (TD, 400m, 6a) - the line goes between the sun and the shadow. Great Pontok is not climbed often, only 8 ascents in 5 years!

Two of those are my ascents in 2017 and again this year! Brilliant route. What else did you climb there apart from Watersports? Did you climb the Spitzkoppe? I'm thinking of writing an article for UKC on the area.
