Tree clearance now means Penny.s Arch is clearly visible from Penny.s Cottage. Great natural urban rock feature.

That looks like quite an impressive entrance, Chris. Is there a significant cave beyond or is it just a rock shelter?

No cave beyond to my knowledge, it does have a line of very ancient bolts up its LH side which I have not been able to find out the history of.

'Very ancient bolts' - could be Neolithic but probably early Iron Age?

Wow, any potential? It looks substantial. What is the rock quality like?

A bit overgrown at the moment but possibilities for some bouldering but only worthwhile if you are very local.
Have fun.
