Well done for finding this well hidden crag. My records tell me that I explored the little cave at the far end back in April, 1993. It may have been modified by lead miners. The rock is limestone. I was developing Redmire Quarry around this time but couldn't convince anyone else to walk up Apedale! I went back in 2018 just to make sure I hadn't just imagined the place!
