Well I taught drawing for 30+ years and that really is remarkable. Pencil I presume? I know it's difficult to preserve the white highlights as your hand moves over the drawing. What scale are we looking at?

Thanks guys. Its graphite pencils, charcoal and black pencil. On A1 with a couple of inches boarder. So quite large (Hence the detail). Its been on the dining room table for a couple of months and was a real effort to finish it ( the granite slab was mind numbingly tedious)

Drawing on that scale is really rewarding and a totally different challenge to working g on A3 or similar. You just have to stick with it to fi ish and not get tempted to rush it when it becomes boring or tedious. The end result is definitely worth all that effort and discipline.
