Cool spider webs.

Brilliant! :)

An unusual photo - there's something quite iconic about the web...adding an impression that this is very new ground. I also love the 'moss frame' around the climber. Altogether a brilliant shot.
Thanks

Thanks
Thanks. I think the whole Caithness coastline typifies the ideas you allude to. Im pleased I could convey that. An interesting place to visit, with unique geology, plant, birdlife and landscape that I feel really augment the climbing.

A wonderfully unusual shot. So few climbing photos (of 'outdoor trad') convey the generally unspoiled natural environment that the climbs are situated in. This does it in a beautiful, original way. Plus it's overall a very satisfying composition.

Thanks Gordon. Been nice to stick some photos up here and share a bit of my perspective on climbing/chat about it. Really grateful to receive thoughtful comments. I question the 'ethos' of my motivation to take/share photos as I find the social media environment at times uncomfortable to navigate. But I've also had heartening encounters through it! PS, like the Culllin Book, just had a flick through Mike Lates copy this Autumn, must pick a copy up.

Wow. What a cool, unique photo! And of my favourite Scotsman (or at least joint favourite with at least 3 others). Nice one Pete, you’ve piqued my interest in Caithness!

This photo doesn't do it for me but it seems I am in the minority with that view. It is too contrived and arty for my tastes and I can't see the stuff I am interested in as it is out of focus.
