Are you sure this is B Gully? We did it a few weeks ago and no pitch looked like this.

Hi Mark, yeah it was definitely in B Gully. We could have stuck to the left side and went up the centre but there was a lot of running water underfoot and having never been there I wasn’t sure of the depth of the drop below. So we stuck to the right where we encountered these ice pitches. It eventually took us up and looking down into it on our left and we crossed the snow ridge at the top of the snow slope that you can use to avoid the final 35 odd metre ice pitch at the end. There is a video on YouTube we made if you search B Gully Corrie Fee Glen Clova it should come up. Channel is Strong & Fit Adventures, take a look at that video it might give a better idea of where that pitch starts as I had the go pro although the cold did get to it so I didn’t get much but youll see on the approach ect.

Soz - I stand corrected! It looks like there are at least 4, maybe even 5 variations of B Gully!
