I used the Velvia film simulation for the jpeg (Fuji camera) due to a lot of beloved grit photos being shot on Velvia “back in the day” but wonder if it’s a bit much. Comments appreciated.

I know what you mean but personally I really like it and have voted accordingly. I suppose ultimately you'll only be able to gauge whether you've got it tuned to maximum performance via votes. I for one would be happy to see this hit the number 1 spot at the end of the week, and I'm not really into bouldering.

Thanks for the feedback Mark. I am still feeling my way with “photography” and have yet to find a style. I normally use the Classic Chrome film simulation but the colours were too washed out and the Velvia reflected how the colours “felt”, even if they may be more vivid than they looked.
