I went to catch the milkyway arc and noticed the the red, there was non forecast and the alert went 20 min after it started
There was moisture /mist in the air which eventuates the light pollution.

A couple of the joins need some work Simon. This is the problem with photo-montage at night with long exposures. The landscape experiences small changes in that time. Did you shoot on manual exposure and focus, as that can help?

Sean, yes all manual setting, it’s the only way with night stuff in my view. The joins are often a problem yes, even worse when your editing in the van on a laptop rather than comfort of home and a big screen 😄
