This is a classic shot by John Cleare in Rock Climbers in Action in Snowdonia that certainly deserves 5*
I'm only giving this one star because Sean Kelly is claiming copyright on this picture. I'm not sure of the legality of that, but certainly it seems unethical and, if not that, pathetic.

I think you're misunderstanding how uploading to the UKC galleries operate. The Copyright section is just an auto-complete field, so if it's uploaded on X's gallery, it's attributed to X. I don't think Sean is "claiming" copyright as such.

When I was submitting this image (related to a discussion about Pete in the Forums), I did note that the picture was attributed to John Cleare, but somehow this has not been noted. So now I will formally attribute the pic to JC and also state that this is noted in the relevant Forum post. I would prefer that there was no voting for this as the rating would be accredited to myself and not JC.

You probably already know this but you can edit the photo details, which would allow you to change the Author's name to JC and also switch it into a non-voting category, eg. 'People'.

I have just repeated that process but it has not updated the copyrite to John leave. I have also moved the photo to the Historical section.
