That rope isn't ours, but a team in front. I am soloing ... yes ... in tennis shoes!... That is however as far as my ascent went, about four feet above the deck, for the sole purpose of being able to put it in my logbook: 'The Nose, El Cap', then in very small writing '(first 10 feet of)'. My brother was kicking himself later for not having done the same!
