I used AutoStitch (http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html). Really easy to use and it's free too!
I haven't had much joy using Photoshop for stitching to be honest, it's quite slow on a image this big too, the original is roughly 13000x6000 pixels.

I've done quite a bit of DWS around the UK and there's just no comparison to the experience you get in Mallorca. It's definitely worth a visit if that's your sort of thing!

It's hard to get an idea of the scale but most of the routes are between 9-14m.
