Julie not being sacrificed on the infamous Altar Crack!
PontiusPirate - 16/Jun/08
Good shot! Whenever I've tried to photograph Altar Crack I've had real problems with dappled light through all the trees.

Nick, about 2 to 3 pm in the afternoon in November to January means the sunlight is about 45 degrees to the corner and coming through a gap in the trees - I guess I just got lucky :-)

Awesome climb. Awesome photo.

Brilliant. The colour and light is superb and I love the concern on the belayer's face against the calm focus of the leader.

Awesome lady. Forget the climb. Well, I don't really mean that, because the climb it surely about he purest and toughest of its grade/type in the whole of the Peak district.
