I am retired and now climb midweek in wales, the peak, lakes or Yorkshire dales.
I am 73 years old and have been climbing for over 50 years
Climb extensively on the sport crags now (not as brave as i used to be) to about F6a and VS on trad ,but still love sunny days on remote lakeland and welsh crags
Had a total hip replacement in sept 15 and am climbing regularly again without problems.

Best Climbing Experience
A day out climbing in Wales with Pat Littlejon on the Llynn peninsular on a glorious sunny day. Did some really exciting(and hardish routes).Pat is so steady and safe on the lead, it was a pleasure to be with him and he is such a nice guy too.

Favourite Climbing-Related Discussion Topic
Access is my favourite discussion topic, mainly because there are so many problems these days, mainly caused by a few idiots who spoil it for the majority.
I despair at the litter etc at popular crags.Things need to change or access will become increasingly a problem.

Interests Outside Climbing
Used to be a keen fell runner, but a knackered hip has put payed to all running.
Like sunny holidays, meals out, live music and a few beers.

Anything Else We Should Know
still love my climbing often with life long friends, a few beers afterwards and maybe a curry
Long my I be able to continue!!!!!
