Been climbing seriously for a good few years and still fully obsessed; I really need to go bouldering more! However big Mountain route are top of the list. I really enjoy craging near my limit, but equally enjoy a day of easy rock if there's some quality rock, good company or history involved. Anything in winter good but always enjoy the less frequented venues. Had a few trips to the Alps both ski touring and mountaineering and loving it. Also looking to try my hand at some expedition style mountaineering and I'm scheming for the future.

I enjoy anything to do with the hills (was brought up in Newtonmore so pine for them when I'm in Edinburgh) this usually involves going down them fast as I can, mountain biking and snowboarding are my other main sports. Gradually mellowing as I get older though and I’ve started to enjoy the odd plod as well.

Best Climbing Experience
"Centurion" on the longest day of the year and bouldering around the tents in the perpetual half light of sunset/dawn.

Topping out through the cornice on "Tower Ridge" and climbing into the sunset.

"Fingers Ridge" covered in powder during a blizzard.

The flake pitch on "Bludgers Revaluation", it just kept on coming.

The finger crack on "Magic Crack"
