Access Banned at Wright's Rock The Ticklist

The BMC Regional Access Database (RAD) reports a new access ban at Wright's Rock Area in the Peak District's Churnet Valley. The landowner has instituted a complete climbing ban due to 'persistent abuse of the access conditions by climbers.' Before the ban, access was contingent on following simple rules set by the landowner, which stipulated Friday to Sunday access only, a maximum of 6 climbers at any one time, no dogs and no climbing after 5 p.m. 'Access has been removed due to repeat incidences of the rules not being followed,' the RAD database reads. The BMC is warning climbers not to visit the crag until further notice.
