As you may know, Kevin Jorgeson, Alex Honnold and Matt Segal certainly made a mark on their brief trip to the UK. See their videos here: VIDEO ARTICLE - The Promise, Kevin Jorgeson and Alex Honnold

Not well known in the UK before this trip, they are some of the world's finest trad climbers (however you want to define traditional climbing). Honnold is perhaps the world's top soloist, Jorgeson has a cool head and has soloed up to Fr 9a. Both soloed E9 on their trip to the UK, Meshuga at Black Rocks. Both are students on extended gap years with a bit of sponsorship from climbing companies.

Below is a clip of Kevin Jorgeson soloing hard routes at Rumney in New Hampshire. Rumney is a small cluster of schist craglets, some very steep, on the slopes of Rattlesnake mountain south of Franconia notch and Cannon Cliff in north-west New Hampshire, whose state motto is 'Live Free or Die. I can highly recommend a trip there in the autumn. In fact Rockfax published Rumney's second guidebook in 1996, so I know it well.

Make sure you clip on MORE after the first video. These films were made by the talented American climber, photographer and film maker, Tim Kemple.

Sorry, gave up halfway through! So, sure, I'm a musician, but there seems to be more band footage there than climbing, and that's just annoying me tonight... :-/

AGREED! Would have been OK as a backing track.

Thought the clip of Kevin Jorgeson on The Fly was really good, looks crazy hard, thought the music interfered too much with the first one, but then again these clips were made to advertise the nor'easter event, not just pure climbing clips, so you can't really fault them on that; anyway, cheers for the link.

Thought the video was great. I really enjoyed his 100 days video, if you kept pressing for more. I might be inspired!
