To help create a party mood, regulars and staff turned out in fancy dress and the centre was donating a proportion of the days takings to CHASE, a charity that supports a Guildford hospice for children.
Craggy has been associated with this charity since opening by donating climbing sessions to the children and their families and Saturday was no exception, with many taking advantage of the sessions provided.
Says Danie Rushmer centre manager at Craggy "It's just so amazing to see these kids enjoying their chance to experience climbing, you know they've been through so much and its wonderful to see their happy faces. In all we managed to raise over £400.00."
The main event however was in the evening when the UV lights came on and the UV reflective paint came out. The effect was extraordinary with certain routes fluorescing in the eerie light. Meanwhile in the cafe they used the event to test their new stone based pizza oven and were turning out the most delicious home made pizzas, which are set to become a regular feature on the menu.
