CragX Climbing Shop is an independant specialist climbing shop in The Foundry Climbing Centre, Sheffield. Staffed by experienced, active climbers so you can be sure of the very best advice.

Over the past 12 months there's been a lot going on at both the shop and the wall, with changes to the famous lead wall and several new brands in store. The Crag X Price Match Promise has kept locals coming back, with the team regularly checking shops prices against their competitors. In addition to this the shop has stayed focussed on maintaining a vast range of products in store and nowhere is this more apparent than their expansive range of rockboots (which must be one of the largest in the country).

A recent addition to their range was the Boreal Lynx. Described in Boreal's recent press release as 'the consummate all-rounder' it's already raised a few eyebrows with it's stiff, yet subtly downturned last. At home on local limestone, where a sharp edge is often required, it also fares well on other rock types due to it's sticky Zenith rubber - so much so that it attracted on local legend to buy a pair...
