Surely that's TPV, not FPV? FPV would be helmet mount camera.

That is actually really cool. Amazing how far drones have come (& how skilled the operators must have been) that they can do stuff like that with them.

The footage looked a bit like it was from a video game! 

The FPV refers to the fact that the drone is piloted from the drone’s standpoint (i.e., the onboard camera). In other words, you are flying the drone from the point of view of a person who’s really on board, rather than the standard procedure of drone metering, wherein the pilot controls the aircraft from their view on the floor.

Fair enough, makes sense. I was thinking about it from the point of view of the footage, where it's a third person view of the subject. Gamedev does colour my defaults a bit...

On a semi-related note, have you seen Follow the Light? Some incredible creative drone footage on that.
