Are they any good? Thinking about a cheap mat primarily to go under the wall I have in the garden, which now has a roof about 5' off the ground.  I'm not a serious boulderer ( Sally in the Woods is my closest bouldering, so I'm not likely to use it under serious  rocky landings.

I'm also pretty old school, in that in my formative years at  Pex Hill Quarry, a car amtt or a beer twoel was the height of sophistication!

Thanks,

Steve

I am also interested to know, I hadn't heard of them till now but the price and size of this one is very tempting as a third backup pad to my current moon warrior & pluto pads.

For what you are looking for I would say it is probably worth a buy at that price, can't find any details of their foam supplier but it may not be the best quality/longest lasting. Could be wrong though.

I use them for my home wall and have done for 5+ years - they are perfect.

I have 2 of the deeper ones (20cm I think) and 2 10cm deep which I spread over my bouldering mats. I have quite a large space however. They also seem to have gone up in price a lot ! but have seen 2nd hand deals on ebay etc

edit: I'm talking about the gym mats for a home wall e.g: https://www.newitts.com/beemat-crash-mat?sku=IT079138&gclid=CjwKCAiA17P...
