Are the Chaple Stile boulders any good and would you recomend them to people climbing upto V5? Any other Lakes area venues better for said abilities?

In reply to Lee Horsfall:

I've not been to Chaple Stile but combined with the near by Langdale Boulders (which I have been to) I dare say you'll have a nice day.

St.Bees is very very nice and Carrock Fell has lots to go at.

Bowder Stone (at V5 max) and Honister Pass are a bit limited.

feeeling rough on the rough wall is good at v5. If you go make sure you have a look at that.

In reply to Lee Horsfall:

Yes they are good fun if a little tricky to get around - especially with bracken still being about.

It would be insanity not to visit the Langdale boulders on the same trip.

Carrock fell will be very boggy and has jungle like bracken at the end of Summer. Give that a while yet.

St Bees always gets my vote but it's been very blowy on the coast recently and will be cold.
