Hello internet,

just wondering if anyone could suggest problems for my ticklist it’s called compression session int north https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/set.php?id=3868

basically running out of insider knowledge for Northumberland and the Lakes so I’d be keen to know if anyone knows of any good fridge-huggy problems. Can be any grade really but the harder the better. Im excluding the Peak as there’s already a ticklist for compression in the South.

thanks to anyone who replies

Spring Chicken - Bowderstone

Mothership Reconnection - Thorn Crag

Fight On Black - Widdop

Not sure if those help, or fit your criteria.

Happy squeezing!

The Midas Touch (E6 6c) is a fridge hugging route in Lancs. AFAIK it's not had a full completely side runner free ascent yet.

In reply to Andy Farnell:

Cheers mate looks like there’s actually been two ascents without side runners but nice recommendation ta

In reply to Ciaranunderscoretolan:

They actually used a low side runner to protect the start. I actually wanted to go back and solo the start (in the days before pads were a thing) and do a completely side runner free ascent, but never got round to it.
