Does anyone know where I can buy guides for the spanish bouldering areas? Esp. Albarracin, La Pedriza, Zarzalejo, Crevillent but for any area in spain really.. In a physical store too if they're not available on the web.

The climb europe site has this one in stock and that's all that I'm able to find:
http://www.climb-europe.com/RockClimbingShop/Boulder-Albarracin-Guidebook.h...

These two are unavailable:
http://www.climb-europe.com/RockClimbingShop/Albarracin-Bouldering-Guideboo...
http://www.climb-europe.com/RockClimbingShop/Zarzalejo-Bouldering-Guidebook...

Is climb-europe a trustworthy shop? Which Albarracin guidebook is the best one?

You can buy the guides for la Pedriza and Albarracin in the local shops in either manzanares el real or Albarracin.
I know that the newer Albarracin guide has less soft grades and better maps but less actual problems so up to you what you prefer. The La Pedriza guide is beautiful.

Thank you!
By "less soft grades" do you mean like 6A and up or more like 7A and up?

Hi Riada I'm spanihs and you can buy the best guides in www.desnivel.com. If you want to go to spain I recomend you go firts to Albarracin it's so nice and you have a lot of problems, you need a lot of time to resolve those problems. And also you can go to El Cogul, is near Barcelona (Lleida) I'm from there and also are a very good boulders.

I'm new in UK and I'm watching guides for the english bouldering areas... you know something?

Thx

Llani is right, desnivel.com is good, the only downside is very expensive shipping to UK. Outside.com stock the Albarracin guide. We're off at Christmas and got the Roberto Palmer guide. It's great, especially the English translations!

Tienda El Refugio in Manzanares el Real (Pedriza) have guides and you can hire pads if required. Get in touch via facebook, they are helpful and friendly.

I don't see a climbing web shop at outside.com, you probably mean outside.co.uk but they don't seem to have the albarracin guide. I think I can find that particular guide elsewhere though so no big deal.

In any case, does anyone know where I could get a guide for Crevillent?

In reply to riada:

Both the Albarracin guides are from Cordee, so people who order their stuff from them may have it or can order it, or you can order direct.

But it says there is a new version of Palmer available imminently may be worth checking that before getting the 1st edition.

I mean that you will find 7A's in the older guide that are 6B in the new guide ie. more of the boulders are 'soft for the grade' in the old guide . Albarracin has a great spread of grades for everyone!

There's a new version of the Palmer Albarracin guide coming out? I didn't see that here:
http://www.cordee.co.uk/Albarracin-Bouldering-det-0-0-0-13245.html?search=a...

Do you know where you saw that information?

Helen, thanks for clearing it up!
