The 2009 nesting restrictions poster can now be downloaded from the BMC website - http://www.thebmc.co.uk/Download.aspx?id=279

The UK is internationally important for a number of bird species, which are often vulnerable during the nesting period. The BMC works in partnership with the conservation bodies to ensure a least restrictive approach is followed and in many cases restrictions are lifted as soon as the chicks fledge the nest.

Looks like no change from last year to me - at least in the areas I climb. Anyone spot anything new?

Hi,

Can you tell me if there are currently any restrictions at Helsby - last time I was there (about a week ago) there were no signs, although I thought I saw a Peregrine.

Thanks

Tom
