This is a general request for information on any access issues that UKC users may have encountered while using the England Coast Path, now retitled the King Charles III England Coast Path (thanks Thérèse Coffey).
The BMC and other organisations have a meeting with Natural England coming up, to discuss how the project is progressing and this would be an ideal time to raise any problems which may have been encountered by climbers and walkers using the existing ECP or paths which will in time form part of it. Usually this will be paths running adjacent to the coast, often along clifftops. Paths leading to this from highways or normal public rights of way wont be the focus of this meeting, but may be relevant if the ECP is inaccessible for very long stretches due to lack of connectivity.
Post any issues here or email to jon.fullwood@thebmc.co.uk.
Thanks.
