Hi everyone, 

It's the summer Peak Area meeting! Wednesday 16th (tomorrow) at 7pm at the Sir William in Grindleford.

Usual topics on the agenda, chips, and it's my final meeting as chair 😲 so it'll be farewell from me. 

For the talk after the meeting we have Sarah Lister:

After moving from London in 2016, Sarah was captivated by the Peak District landscape. A connection that has transformed her life and work. Now a Career Coach and host of the popular podcasts Wild About Kinder and About The Adventure, Sarah brings a unique perspective to exploring our hills.

Am I right in thinking this is your last one as chair? Thanks again for your amazing contribution to the BMC area, irrespective.

I'm driving over, so will be there, hopefully from about 6, then heading up to Yorkshire afterwards to pick up Lynn (who sends her apologies).

You've done a great job, Andy and you've chaired some 'interesting' meetings over the years. Will be a tough act to follow for sure. 

Heading over too Andy - wouldn't miss it for the world. I'm sure I'll say a few words later, but for the benefit of the UKC/UKH community I'd just like to record the huge thanks from all of the BMC and especially our Peak-based members for your energies and enthusiasm for the Chair role. Brilliant job! I owe you a pint!
