I have about 800 tracks and rising that I like stored on my laptop. I can play them in several different ways. I can select them all and then shuffle through them where the next track is randomly chosen. This is great but even better is where I use a different programme to play them that offers a choice of 5 options for the next track. This is a brilliant compromise and my preferred method - it has elements of randomness but also offers selection. I can go for hours through my collection like this.
Any other ideas for music cruising?
